File traced the early years of the Child Feeding Scheme for children under the British Military Administration (BMA).
It recorded correspondences from the Organising Secretary, Singapore Executive of the Malayan Welfare Council to the Deputy Chief Civil Affairs Officer, BMA Singapore Division.  Subsequent consultation & agreement via telegrams between HQ BMA(M) in Kuala Lumpur Colonial's Office and BMA Singapore Division, Singapore Executive of the Malayan Welfare Council regarding the appeal to continue the Feeding Scheme.
There were also correspondences between the respective departments – Education, Social Welfare, Medical and the Colonial Secretary’s Office regarding justification for the extension of the Child Feeding and School Feeding Scheme.
