Collection - R20: Governor's Letters to Bengal

The Governor's Letters to Bengal consists of correspondence from the Governor of the SS to the Governor of Bengal in 1850. This series covers daily events and statement reports on matters ranging from law and order to banking establishment. It also contains Proclamation Acts of 1838 and 1851, as well a the extension of Acts in 1852. There is also coverage on events leading up to, and the Naning War (1831) itself.
