Japanese Occupation of Singapore 日治时期的新加坡 - LIM Seng @ Lim Tow Tuan 林诚
)Each time you press enter, a new line will be added. Try to transcribe a sentence, or a whole phrase, in each line.
)You can choose who the line will be credited to in the drop down, but if you need to change it later, you can do so in the editing box.
)The timing set will be approximate. You can modify the timing for each box by editing the timing in the editing box, or by dragging the ends of the box in the player screen.
)You don’t have to transcribe words like “erm” or “ah”, but otherwise you can transcribe the interview verbatim, without corrections to grammar
)If you’re unsure of any word, put your best guess or comment in square brackets. For example: [wales or whales?] [inaudible words]
)If there are two people speaking simultaneously, just record each one separately. The system can take in overlapping timings, although overlaps should be minimised.
)Transcription may take longer than expected! So keep on Saving As In Progress till the whole reel is done. Take breaks when you need to!
