Malay named Moussib and 2 friends named [Matt] and [Munwin] their boat with a cargo of Rattan were attacked by an armed Chinese prow at Qualla Krean. [in the margin: attacked near Pulo Burong]
2 friends jumped overboard and have not been heard of since Boat seized and towed to Tanjong Piandong. Moussib was set free by saying he was the Yam Tuan's (Sultan of Perak's) man but boat and cargo not returned. Value $185.
Moussib whilst at Tanjong Piandong saw a great number of men and junks there one fo the crew of the junks told him that they had 8 Malay women on board whose husbands and relations they had killed and they were keeping these women as concubines.
