Records contain typed reminiscences: pp. 5-6 voyage to Singapore pp. 8-11 short, vivid account of the Fall of Singapore pp 11-14 imprisonment. Joined a working party base on Havelock Road and then Tanjong Rhu. Was engaged in pulling trucks of concrete and bricks to rebuild the town. pp.18-19 further description of life in Rver Valley Camp. The rest of the account describes his time in Thailand and his release.
