01/01/1970 - 31/12/1970
One British child killed and one injured  by a bomb attached to a Communist flag at Changi Airbase. Other explosive devices and Communist literature were found on the island between 23 and 26 April 1970.  In May there was a demonstration in Raffles Place and in June a demonstration in Upper Serangoon. Comments by the British High Commission that pro-Communist sentiment has not been silenced.
