Question of the appointment of a defence advisor to the British high Commission in Singapore. Previously the defence advisor was attached to Far East Land Forces (FARELF). Part of his duties will be to negotiate with the Singapore Government on the rundown of the British forces and to help Singapore to build up its own armed forces.
