Need for the British forces in Singapore, Brunei and Malaysia for clarification of the purchase of new local currencies for payment of the forces. Arrangements for interchangeability of these currencies. Local banks invited to tender for the currency needs of the Command Paymaster. Suggestions that the local currency arrangements in Malaysia should be transferred to Kuala Lumpur. Mention of meetings with Lim Kim San.
