This file contains the trial proceedings of 9 Japanese officers charged with committing a war crime in Burma and Siam. They were accused of ill-treating Allied POWs employed on the construction of the Mergui-Prachuab Kherikhan Road, resulting in death and injury to many POWs. Four of the accused were found not guilty while the rest were sentenced to 5 - 10 years' imprisonment.
