C1800s-1900s
Describes the Isle of Lamori (Sumatra). The people go naked and the women are shared commonly. Cannibalism is also practised. The Isle of Java is praised, for its excellent spices and marvelous palace, beset with precious stones. In the kingdom of Zampa, the King had two hundred children, and kept 14000 tame elephants. There is also the island of Nicoveran, where the men have faces that resemble dogs.
