Copies of various issues of 'Malaya's Political Climate' written by Victor Purcell, the Adviser on Chinese Affairs dating from October 1945 to March 1946 with associated documents. The latter include papers on the attitude towards Chinese political bodies, notes by the DCCAO (Deputy Chief Civil Affairs Officer) Malaya on political associations, 'Malaya in Crisis' text of a broadcast by Purcell, 13 November 1945. These papers are not filed in date order.
