Points raised include Malaysia's promise of  additional police for Singapore's internal security if needed; Lee's confidence in controlling the Barisan Sosialis but worry about his ministers who opposed the separation; Singapore's desire for approbation by India; Lee's hope for eventual Malaysia-Singapore reunification; problems in trade and finance between Singapore-Malaysia to remain as long as Tan Siew Sin was Minister for Finance; Indonesian Foreign Office's Ganis Harsono's comments that Sarawak should now go to Indonesia and Sabah to the Philippines
