WO 203/3844: Plans for Malaya and Siam: Force 136 operations; availability of stores for sorties

Outline reports on future plans for the use of Force 136 in 1945 and in the post-war period. Papers on the role of the force in Malaya which include a survey of activities since before the war when SOE trained and introduced 150 Chinese guerrilla leaders into enemy occupied Malaya before the Fall of Singapore. Force 136 operation 'Carpenter' was introduced into Singapore in November 1944 which confirmed the existence of AJUF fighting against the Japanese in Johore. Future plans concentrate on helping a future Allied operations to recapture Malaya. Reports also on activities in FIC and Siam. Includes a SITEMAP of F.I.C., 17/3/1945 indicating locations of French troops, 'native' troops and levies and of wireless stations.
