Orders detailing the men of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire who as POWs at Changi performed their duties well (in order that they should receive pay if and when they were released). Also notes periods of detention for various misdemeanours. Also includes lists of men who travelled to Thailand and who returned to River Valley Road Camp from Thailand and those who came from Sime Road camp to Changi at various dates. Notes on deaths. Record of distribution of units on Singapore Island at various dates including 16 July 1944 and 17 November 1944 (extensive list of men with their locations), men on board ships in Singapore Harbour on 2 July 1944 believed to be en route for Japan. More notes on individual members of the regiments 10 May 1945. List of the Norfolks 16 Jan 1943 which includes all known casualties since the embarkation of the unit, 13 October 1941 and the disembarkation in Malaya on 26 January 1942 with notes on battle casualties (location of deaths), those who died of their wounds , missing men, those who evacuated from Singapore before the surrender, deaths in POW camps and transfers from Singapore camps.
