File includes a 'Top Secret' Report on the Strategic Importance of the British Territories in Borneo and on the colony of North Borneo in particular', prepared by General Headquarters Far East Land Forces in February 1947 with a view to providing a basis for possible future planning by the three services. Other documents include the report of the Commanders'-in 'Chief Committee, Far East,  on the Strategic Position of North Borneo.
