WO 361/292: Malaya: Royal Army Medical Corps; missing personnel

Thick folder of correspondence, statements and lists of personnel serving in the  32nd Company Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) in Malaya who were reported killed or missing. Information also refers to other units in Malaya including the Norfolk Regiment and the Sherwood Foresters. It includes notes on the bombing of the 'Chu Quong' as it was sailing from Singapore, a very detail account of the conditions and the fighting on Singapore and evacuation from the island to Java and ultimately to Colombo,  account of the massacre at the Alexandra Hospital from a radiologist serving there, extracts from the war diary of the hospital and a list of the dead at the hospital with details of their injuries.
