FCO 141/15845: Singapore: Kelantan Order in Council; place of appeal - migrated archives
01/01/1906-31/12/1906
C.O. Forwards to Sir John Anderson copies of the correspondence between the Foreign Office, The C.O. and the British Ambassador in Bangkok on the subject of the appeals under the Kelantan Order in Council and in particular the ease of travel between the Siamese Malay States and Bangkok and the States and Singapore for the hearing of appeals. It is only one day longer by steamer to Bangkok than it is to Singapore. As Kelantan is part of the Siamese dominions, it is only proper that appeals should be taken to the Court in Bangkok.
