They include letters and telegrams sent between the Secretary of State and the Governor General and records of meetings on the negotiations with the Sultans for a Union of Malaya, the second report of the Working Committee appointed by the Governor of the Malayan Union, the Rulers of the Malaya States and representatives of UMNO and Malayan Union Despatch no 199, 11 May 1947 from the Governor of the Malayan Union to the Secretary of State on the outcome of discussions of proposals in the draft Federation of Malaya Agreement.
