Singapore Airlines' (SIA) retired pilot Captain S K Chan who had his earliest flying experiences in an Airspeed Consul as a trainee pilot in 1949, first stewardess Rosemary Tay who served the airline when it began as Malayan Airways in 1947 and another pilot were guests aboard the DC-3 that flew pass the hangar as part of SIA's 40th anniversary celebrations.
