MOSQUE AT BENCOOLEN STREET
Bencoolen Mosque at 59 Bencoolen Street. Built in 1845, the mosque underwent major repairs in 1980. In 2001, the mosque site was re-developed as part of a mixed development comprising commercial block and a 12-storey residential complex, the Somerset Bencoolen Serviced Apartments. The re-developed mosque which is part of the complex was opened to public in May 2004
