Singapore Telephone Board (STB) and Mitsui of Japan signing a $33 million agreement for the supply of 100,000 lines of exchange material and other associated equipment to be manufactured by Fujitsu in Japan. The ceremony was held in STB's Board Room at Telephone House, Hill Street. Seated from right, general manager Goh Seng Kim and chairman H R Hochstadt signed for STB. Director of Mitsui Kihachiro Miyazaki and executive director of Fujitsu Taichiro Atarashi signed on behalf of the supplier.
