ALKAFF GARDEN
The Japanese-styled Alkaff Lake Gardens belonged to the illustrious Alkaff family from Southern Arabia. Opened to the public in 1929 and bought over by H. Sennett Realty Company in 1949, the land subsequently made way for private houses. Its location off MacPherson Road is now occupied by Sennett Estate and Cedar Girls' Secondary School.
