SIR (DR) LIM HAN HOE
Portrait of Dr Lim Han Hoe, a leading doctor in Singapore. He was knighted in 1946, the second Chinese in Malaya to be knighted after Sir Song Ong Siang. An old boy of St Andrew's School and Raffles Institution, Dr Lim was president of Straits Chinese British Association, Singapore in the 1930s. He was also president of the Straits Chinese Football Association (1924-1928), vice-president of the Singapore Football Association (1925-1930) and appointed as Public Service Commission chairman in 1956.
