The Eastern Extension Telegraph Company building which was later known as Cable and Wireless Building. In 1995, the building became the Telecommunications Authority of Singapore building, given conservation status in 2000 and became Ogilvy Centre in 2001. The building is being restored and refurbished as a hotel (Sofitel So Singapore) set to open in 2013.
