COAT OF ARMS OF MALAYSIA
The coat of arms for Malaysia when it was formed in 1963 incorporated the symbols (at bottom of shield) for Sabah (two arms supporting the flagpole), Singapore (crescent moon with five stars), and Sarawak (yellow with a black and red cross). This coat of arms was later revised when Singapore left the federation in 1965.
