Flying Tiger Captain Li Wei Lie was born in 1918 in Singapore. During World War II, he took it as his sense of duty to fight for the country, and enrolled in the air force military school. He was from the 8th Regiment of 3rd Squadron of the China Air Force, and retired in 1947.
