TAN SRI RUNME SHAW, CHAIRMAN OF SINGAPORE TOURIST PROMOTION BOARD (STPB) SPEAKING AT A PRESS PREVIEW OF THE SURRENDER CHAMBER. THE STPB IS NOW PLANNING TO RECAPTURE IN WAX ANOTHER HISTORIC SURRENDER SCENE - THE BRITISH CAPITULATION TO THE JAPANESE AT FORD MOTORS 32 YEARS AGO. THE BOARD HAS ALREADY COMPLETED A SIMILAR PROJECT DEPICTING THE JAPANESE SURRENDER TO THE BRITISH AT CITY HALL AT THE END OF THE LAST WAR FOR THE STPB'S SURRENDER CHAMBER.
