SALVATION ARMY'S HEADQUARTERS IN SINGAPORE
Headquarters of Salvation Army in Singapore located at the junction of Clemenceau Avenue and Penang Road (formerly Tank Road). Built in 1882, the Chinese courtyard house was originally residence of prominent Teochew businessman Tan Yeok Nee. On 19 November 1974, the building was gazetted as a national monument.
