Acting Supreme Commander of the Royal Thai Armed Forces General Chavalit Yongchaiyudh wearing  the red-and-purple sash with white lining and a gold badge, and a gold and silver star on his breast pocket. The General is the second person to be conferred Singapore's highest military award. He is nominated for the award by the Singapore Government for his role in promoting good relations between the Singapore Armed Forces and the Royal Thai Armed Forces. The first was awarded to General Benny Murdani, then Indonesian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, and now Indonesia's Defence Minister.
