GAS WORKS AT GEYLANG ROAD, SINGAPORE
The Gas Works at Kallang, Singapore. When the Gas Works was completed in 1862, gas was supplied by the private Singapore Gas Company and since 1901, when it was acquired by the Municipal Commissioners, supply of gas had been under control of the City Council until the Public Utilities Board (PUB) took over in 1963.
