Mr. Goh Chok Tong, Singapore’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, visited Thailand as a guest of Mr. Bhichai Rattakul, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, from 17-19 Dec 1986. His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej gave an audience to DPM Goh at the Chiladda Rahothan Palace during his visit.

Dr Subin Pinkayan was formerly the Minister for Commerce before taking over from Air Chief Marshall Siddhi Savetsila as Foreign Minister in 1990.
