The site shown is from Botanical Gardens at the west to Orchard Road/ Grange Road junction at the east, and from Orchard Road/Tanglin Road junction at the north to Jervois Road and River Valley Road at the south. The last two roads, Nassim Hill and Kim Seng Road are unlabelled, but their alignments are noticeable. The map shows lands/boundaries in occupation, indenture boundaries, indenture numbers, government reserve, reserve plot, roads, tracks, road reserves, drains, some buildings, two bungalows, Cluny Road, Napier Road, Paterson Road, Irwell Bank Road and others.
