This map of India, southern China and Southeast Asia shows settlements, factories and territories with explanation of which belong to England, Spain, France, Holland, Denmark, Portugal etc , many other remarks, country names, provinces, towns and cities, place names, mountains in pictorial form, rivers, islands, China, India Siam, part of Great Tibet and Persia, Malacca or Malayans (Malaya), Tonquin (Tonkin) and Cochinchina (Vietnam), Philippines, Sumatra, Java, Borneo and Celebes Islands, Indus River, Ganges River, Mekong, Chao Phraya, Straits of Malacca, Straits of Sincapora (Singapore), Delly (Delhi), Bombay, Colombo, Achin (Aceh), Malacca (as under the Dutch), Johor or Jor, Batavia, Jambi, Palembang, Manila, Bancock (Bangkok), Macao, Canton (Guangzhou), and others. On the left of the map are two drawn views: 1) 'A Prospect of the City of Goa' and 2) 'A Prospect of the City of Surat', and three drawn pictorial plans: 3) 'A Plan of the City of Bantam', 4) 'A Plan of Fort St George and the City of Madras' and 5) 'A Plan of the City of Batavia'.
