The hydrographic chart is Admiralty Chart No 976, surveyed by Captain Claudio Montero in 1861 and published in 1876, showing soundings in fathoms in the sea in and outside Manila Bay, and in Bay Lake (Laguna Bay), submarine contours, islands, rivers, hachures, spot heights in feet, vegetation along the northern coast of Manila Bay, place names, Manila, Cavite, San Roque, Mariveles, Port Mariveles, Port Limbones, Subig, Port Subig, and others. Also shown is an inset of Port Mariveles from a Spanish Map of 1852, with more soundings, hachures, vegetation and a bar scale of 1 Sea Mile.
