The undated manuscript hydrographic chart, by W Hacke, shows soundings in the Straghs (Straits) of Malacca, Strait of Singapore, around the Riau Islands and south to Lingen (Lingga Island), with Singapore, the other islands and the coastlines of Malaya and Sumatra inaccurately drawn, rivers, place names, and others. Malacca was referenced by hand-printing "at which place the Dutch hath a vast rich trade".
