284 pgs – File contents are requests by government agencies for free copies of the Singapore Street Directory 1961, produced by the Ministry of Culture (MC), in collaboration with the Survey Department which supplied the sectional maps. In its circular to the government agencies, MC emphasised that the 1961 Directory was not meant to replace, but to supplement the 1958 Directory and agencies had to justify their requests for copies of the 1961 Directory.
