This file contains a Central Complaints Bureau Investigation Officer’s ‘Discreet Observation/ Inspection Report’ of her visit to the HDB (Housing & Development Board) Kallang Basin Area Office. The objective of the visit was to ensure that courtesy was shown by civil servants in dealing with members of the public. The Investigating Officer commended the efficiency and manners of the staff but noted the crowding conditions and waiting time. The report was sent to the HDB. The response of the HDB is included in the file.
