Complaint of an Inconsiderate member residing At 154-B Yew Tee Village
[4 pages] The Central Complaints Bureau (CCB) was copied on a complaint by ‘The Residents, Yew Tee Village’, that was sent to the Health Ministry about a cowherd, his cattle, and his building of a cattle shed. The complainants said the matter had been made known to the Rural Health Department in Chua Chu Kang Road but no action was taken. The CCB enquired and found out that the Health Inspector had attended to the matter, but the complainants could not be informed as the complaint was anonymous. The CCB forwarded the complaint to the Health Officer of the Bukit Panjang/ Jurong District Council Office who clarified that the cattle shed was licensed and that the licensee was taking necessary steps to comply with the requirements and abate the nuisance.
