Rearing Chickens in SIT Flats
[4 pages] The Central Complaints Bureau (CCB) received a complaint about S.I.T. tenant/s rearing chickens and other animals such as pigeons and rabbits. The chickens were not kept in their houses but left to roam, such that they entered the complainant’s flat and also defecated there. The complaint letter was copied to the Housing and Development Board (HDB). The HDB informed the CCB that they were investigating the matter and would take action against the tenant if it was true that he was rearing chickens.
