Correspondence (External)
- a minute dated 2 January 1946 from Deputy Director (Telecoms) (i.e. DD(Tel)) to Director of Telecoms (Radio) (i.e. D (Radio)), Kuala Lumpur (KL) on installation of very high frequency (VHF) police equipment for 1947, scheme A;
- a minute dated 2 January 1947 from DD(Tel) to Commissioner of Police (COP) on the power of transmitters for main station and mobile stations;
- a letter dated 17 February 1947 from an equipment supplier to the Officer-in-Charge of Radio, Police Department (i.e. O/C Radio, Police), on the subject of VHF radio communication system for Singapore Police. Tentative proposals were attached to the supplier's letter on various equipment for fixed and mobile stations;
- a minute dated 7 March 1947 from COP to the Controller of Telecoms providing the comments from O/C Radio, Police on various requirements from the Police on radio equipment including standby generators and battery power supplies. On 10 March 1947, Director (Telecoms) requested the D (Radio), KL for a reply on the provision and procurement of equipment for the Police;
- a telegram dated 30 July 1947 on the subject of Police radio from the Secretary of State for the Colonies (SS), London informing the Governor of Singapore that the Home Office had decided on five frequencies and was recommending to the International Wireless Board for approval. SS requested that the Telecommunications Department approved the frequencies so that there would be no chance of anyone working on the frequencies;
- a minute dated 6 August 1947 from COP  informing the Director (Telecoms) the revised requirements for the Police radio as advised by a Home Office radio expert in UK. Two sites at Mt. Pleasant and Mt. Faber would be used;
- test results of radio equipment carried out by an equipment supplier for the Police Department in July/ August 1947 at several proposed transmitter sites. The results were forwarded by Director (Telecoms) to D (Radio), KL in August 1947 for attention. Results of tests at Caldecott Hill by the supplier in collaboration with Police were also forwarded by Director (Telecoms) to D (Radio), KL on 29 August 1947;
- a minute dated 25 August 1947 from the Director of Civil Aviation informing the O/C Radio, Police  that the proposal to erect two 150-feet masts on Mt. Faber could not be approved due to height constraints; and

Minutes of Meetings
- notes of meeting held on 29 August 1947 in the Colonial Secretary's Office to discuss the Police radio system (particularly on whether amplitude or frequency modulation system) to be used in Singapore.
