Singapore. Elections Department
The Elections Department was established since the colonial days. Prior to 1959, it was a unit of the Department of Statistics.

Today, the main responsibility of the Department is to conduct and supervise elections. For this purpose, the Department has to prepare its registers of electors and printed Electorial Registers according to the electoral divisions which are divided into polling districts.

The Elections Department is now under the supervision of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO)
