The Chief Executive of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis), Hj Abdul Razak Hassan Maricar is leading a delegation to the 42^nd Senior Officers Meeting (or SOM) of MABIMS in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from 25^th to 28^th October 2017.

 

2.            MABIMS is the Unofficial Meeting of Religious Affairs Ministers of Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. The MABIMS framework aims to foster informal cooperation on religious affairs among its member countries. Senior Officers Meeting is within the ambit of MABIMS.

 

3.            The theme for the meeting this year is “Countering Extremism using New Media”.
