TOTAL VOTES CAST AT BUKIT BATOK BY-ELECTION
The overseas votes cast at the Bukit Batok By-Election were counted on 11 May 2016 at the counting centre at the ELD Training Centre.
2 There were 52 registered overseas electors, out of which, 32 turned up at the designated overseas polling stations to cast their votes.
3 Adding to the votes cast in Singapore on 7 May 2016, the total number of votes cast at the Bukit Batok by-election (i.e. local and overseas votes) is 24,224 (inclusive of 622 rejected votes). This is 94.16% of the 25,727 registered electors in Bukit Batok constituency. The breakdown of valid votes by candidates is shown below.
