Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be Chairman of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)’s International Advisory Council (IAC) with effect from 1 May 2014. He takes over the chairmanship from Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, who served as the Chairman of IAC for seven years from 2007 to 2014.
