1 Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Lui Tuck Yew will be leading the Singapore delegation to the 2nd Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Transport Ministers’ Meeting (TMM), from 24 to 26 October 2011, in Chengdu, China.
2 The ASEM transport ministers will be exchanging views on transport issues of interest and discussing various initiatives to enhance transport co-operation between Asia and Europe, including promoting efforts to expand transport links and connectivity between the two regions.
3 Minister Lui will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Transport. He will also be taking the opportunity to meet his counterparts from China and other ASEM partners at the meeting.
