CALL BY GUANGDONG VICE GOVERNOR WAN QINGLIANG
ON SENIOR MINISTER GOH CHOK TONG
Guangdong Vice Governor Wan Qingliang called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong at the Istana this morning. Vice Governor Wan is in Singapore from 12 – 15 July 2010 to Co-Chair the 2nd Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council (SGCC) meeting, together with Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts RADM (NS) Lui Tuck Yew, and to better understand Singapore’s economic and social development experiences. During the meeting, SM and Vice Governor Wan discussed opportunities for further cooperation between Singapore and Guangdong under the SGCC umbrella. Vice Governor Wan also updated SM on the development of the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City project.
