26 NEW CONFIRMED CASES OF INFLUENZA A (H1N1-2009)

26 new confirmed cases of Influenza A (H1N1-2009)

 
            Singapore has confirmed another 26 new cases (195th to 220th cases) of Influenza A (H1N1-2009), comprising 11 local cases and 15 cases with travel history. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Singapore to 220.
 
2          The 11 new local cases comprise of two Butter Factory patrons, two who attended a church camp at the Fishermen of Christ Church, two full-time national servicemen at Maju Camp and five unlinked cases. The five unlinked cases comprise of four females and one male aged between 18 to 22 years old.
 
3          Of the 15 imported cases, four had a travel history to the Philippines, four to Australia, three to Hong Kong, two to the USA, one to the UK and one to New Zealand.
