1. Malaysia’s Chief of Defence Force General (GEN) Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj Abdul Aziz bin Hj Zainal is in Singapore for an introductory visit from 27 to 28 May. GEN Abdul Aziz called on Minister for Defence Teo Chee Hean and Chief of Defence Force Major-General Desmond Kuek at the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) this afternoon. While at MINDEF, GEN Abdul Aziz inspected a Guard of Honour. GEN Abdul Aziz also visited Tengah Air Base and the SAF Centre for Military Experimentation.

2. GEN Abdul Aziz assumed the post of Chief of Defence Force on 1 Feb 2007.
