The Ministry of Defence announced today that it has awarded two contracts to the Singapore Technologies (ST) Electronics' subsidiary, STELOP Pte Ltd. The first contract, a five-year maintenance contract, is to provide maintenance services for the electro-optics equipment and systems used across the Singapore Armed Forces by Army, Navy and Air Force units. The second contract is a procurement contract for the supply of lightweight thermal weapon sights for the Army, which is expected to be completed by 2009.
