Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew will visit the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from 16 to 20 January 2007 at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. In Hanoi, he will meet President Nguyen Minh Triet, PM Dung, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nong Duc Manh and other senior members of the Vietnamese Government.

                        MM will also visit Ho Chi Minh City as well as the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park in Binh Duong Province where he will meet the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province.

                        MM will be accompanied by Mrs Lee, Minister of State for Finance and Transport Lim Hwee Hua, Minister of State for Trade and Industry S Iswaran, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Education Masagos Zulkifli, and senior government officials.
